“Lakeside Resort has a lot to offer for families, especially the indoor water park-though it sounds like it could use some sprucing up. I think the proximity to Houghton Lake and the range of suites, including a honeymoon option with a claw-foot tub, make it a contender for weekend getaways, I would definitely skip the on-site restaurant though; there seem to be some consistency issues there.”
